Children’s Art & Social Justice Council

On the third Saturday of the month the Children’s Art & Social Justice Council meet while parents volunteer at the Community Service & Feed In. Children organize and plan for upcoming youth lead events, direct action, and develop healthy ways to engage in social justice through education and the creation of art. All ages and abilities are welcome.

11am-1pm @ Hughes Memorial United Methodist Church.

Our annual Spring Breakout program provides a space for our youth to come participate in art making, educational programming and activism workshops. The program will occur at various locations throughout the week. A schedule and updates on locations will be provided upon registration. #SpringBreakout2019 #YouCantControlArt

Reclaim MLK Annual March for Human Rights & Dignity

The 5th Annual Children’s March for Social Justice is our most important action of the year!!

Once again Children Lead with parents, community, and neighbors supporting the promotion of free speech and social change. The Children’s Art and Social Justice is joining forces with several community groups, unions, sponsors and partner organizations.

Once again we will collect food and clothing for local families which is distributed all year long via our partnership to support the Community Feed-In programming at Hughes Memorial.
