✊🏾 12th Annual Children’s Art & Social Justice Reclaim MLK March

This year’s theme echoes communities across the country:
COMMON UNITY MATTERS.

Be a force for change with intention.
Build real relationships with your neighbors.
Join a local group. Choose a few days each month to show up — and bring your family.

With rising threats of violence and chaos in our neighborhoods, now is the time to reject being bystanders.
Be a witness.
Be a freedom fighter.
Be a change agent.

Honor King. END RACISM.

Reclaim MLK March

Bring a buddy — We Keep Us Safe ☝🏽

This is a children-led march, and safety is collective.

Important reminders:

    •    Learn and follow the safety guidelines

    •    Bring snacks & water

    •    Bring a mask 😷

    •    Know your rights

    •    We will leave the park by 1:15 PM — please be ready to move together

    •    We will provide posters, but feel free to bring your own signs and banners

    •    Children walk the front line — please do not march ahead of them

    •    We move at their pace

    •    This year, we will not have our own tables. Other groups are welcome to bring theirs.

Pro Tip:
Watch Selma tonight and talk with your children about Dr. King.

Help them understand that they are making history on this holiday.

See you in the streets.

Common Unity. Collective Care. Future Forward.
