Don’t Shoot PDX Social Justice Archive!

In collaboration with Volumes Design Library and Omnivore Inc,
Don’t Shoot Portland is launching an open source protest archive
to support our ongoing work!

November 21
11am to 3pm
Pacific NW College of Art

This activism-based art build serves as a community invitation to bring in your favorite posters or signs from Portland movement history to upload to our open source repository. Join us in archiving local resistance and art!

Don’t Shoot Portland is an arts and education organization that promotes social justice and civic participation. Our mission is to harness the power of creative expression to inspire, educate, and mobilize communities towards equity, justice, and transformative social impact. The BLACK Gallery powered by DSPDX is an extension of this programming, centering art as activism to showcase underrepresented artists. @dontshootpdx @theblackgallerypdx

VOLUMES is a reference library with an extensive collection of books, magazines, posters, and ephemera spanning disciplines, decades, and genres.

Omnivore Inc are a 3-person, female-owned, graphic design studio located in Brooklyn, New York; Portland, Oregon; and Los Angeles, California. We are 2nd generation Asian-Americans, working mothers, design educators, small business owners, food lovers, justice seekers and friends. We have been collaborating since 2002 and often think of ourselves as a 3-headed monster.
