Thank you to everyone who has come by to visit our exhibit atHOLDING Contemporary as part of our annual Black August programming! We were grateful to have an opening reception as well as a live artist talk with Kyra Watkins (@hernamewaskyra) and are looking forward to you joining our planned events during the exhibition.

Please follow our socials (instagram and facebook) and sign up for the DSP newsletter to stay up to date on what we have planned! Our opening reception was a beautiful showing of community - we were honored to have you all there as we wanted the space to exude feelings of hope, understanding, affirmation and love.

Thank you to Sundayz Catering and Cuisine for bringing soul into our reception! Huge thanks to J.P.s Framing for showing up to support us as well as the family of Zamere Bentley. As we continue to work towards Black Joy we also make sure we are able to advocate for our community during times of trauma and tragedy. Thank you to everyone who continues to support us in making this work possible.
